Over the past 9 years I have taken additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Brief Solution Focussed Therapy, and have attended a wide selection of courses including bereavement, PTSD, eating disorders, stress management and counselling carers.
    
    I now use an integrative approach, which I feel enables me to respond appropriately to the needs of individual clients.
    
    I have experience of a wide range of issues, including abuse, depression, anxiety, relationships, and bereavement. I have developed a special interest in workplace stress and bullying.
    
    I see clients from various referral sources, including self referral, and EAP and Insurance providers.
    
    I am an assessor for Milton Keynes PCT Counselling Scheme and am a counsellor for MK Counselling for Carers.
    
    I worked as a voluntary counsellor with MIND for seven years and have worked for The MK City Counselling Service as a voluntary Counsellor at the drop in service since 1998.
    
    I see individuals 16+ and offer short term focussed or long term counselling.

    In 1996 I completed a diploma in psychodynamic counselling, and continued by development with an advanced diploma and masters degree in counselling and psychotherapy. I have also qualified as a hypnotherapist and hypno-analyst, and now teach hypnotherapy with the Royal Berkshire College of Clinical hypnosis. I have also trained and teach meridian therapy, in particular Emotional Freedom Technique.
    
    During the last few years I have completed a diploma and certificate courses in couple therapy, Bereavement counselling and working with anger. I also maintain and enhance my skill with continuing professional development attending courses on a wide range of subjects.
    
    I am BACP accredited, and maintain memberships with APHP, and NCH.
