Trevor J Mathews is a Consultant Cognitive-Behavioural Psychotherapist, with 18 years experience. He has an excellent reputation in the field of CBT, and enjoys a high success rate with patients/clients. He has worked as an independent practitioner within Special Services, Mental Health and has since been in private practice for 11 years.
He is an Accredited Practitioner of CBT with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies [BABCP], and is a Senior Accredited Practitioner with the Association for Rational Emotive-Behaviour Therapy [AREBT]. He is a member of the Association for Coaching.
Whilst he has a high level of expertise in treating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder [PTSD] and Trauma [he has worked with emergency services as a result of the London bombings and deals with PTSD on a daily basis], he also has particular expertise in treating a whole range of emotional problems including: Depression, Anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Phobias, Relationship problems, Workplace difficulties and Stress, Gender issues, Health Anxiety, Bereavement, Low self-esteem, lack of confidence, Christian and Spiritual dilemmas and Panic Attacks.
He is concerned that anyone who presents to him for; therapy, guidance, mentoring or coaching, should be treated with the utmost care, sensitivity and professionalism, for their very individual and specific needs.
