I am a psychodynamic therapist working with individuals and couples, offering both long and short term therapy. I work with a range of issues, including: abuse, anxiety, bereavement, depression, eating disorders, loss, low self-esteem, relationship issues, stress and trauma. As well as running a private practice I have several years' experience working in a counselling agency.
My aim is to help people gain greater understanding of why they feel the way they do, exploring how past experiences may be impacting on present difficulties and using these new insights to enable them to move forward with their lives.

I offer confidentiality, a private space to discuss and explore issues that you might be experiencing. Some of the specific issues that can be discussed are : Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Bereavement, Complicated Grief, Divorce and Separation, Relationships, Health, Work issues and Abuse.
I have worked within the voluntary sector for 6 years working with bereavement and loss, mental health issues, depression and anxiety; also I work within a senior school working with student’s ages 11 -19yrs old and teaching staff.
At my private practice which is based in Hertfordshire I work with adults, families and children covering a wide range of issues. I supervise counsellors and trainers, and life coach and mentor individuals for work placements.
Before I became a therapist I had worked in the service industry in sales, operations, personnel and training I feel this is an advantage as I understand the pressures of working within this sector.
