Richard is an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist. His work is based on humanistic principles, which incorporate brief solution focused principles used in his ongoing contract work with NHS funded drug & alcohol services in Brighton & Hove.
Alongside his private practise and contract work, Richard also runs support groups, and (from Jan 2009) will be the Lead Tutor at Sussex Downs College, facilitating learning on the City & Guilds Certificate in Community Justice.

I have worked as a Person Centred Counsellor in private practice for nearly twenty years and am also a Transactional Analysis Psychotherapist. I have worked for outside agencies such as Social Services and Mental Health and since 1994 have been employed as a freelance counsellor for over a dozen employee assistance providers, such as AXA-ICAS, BUPA and PPC . I have provided therapy to clients who have experienced personal difficulties which may have affected their working performances.
Over the last sixteen years I have co-tutored and taught on Diploma in Counselling courses and have tutored on Counselling Skills training courses at Further Education Colleges. I have taught on the Counselling Skills module which is part of the Diploma in Counselling course at the University of Kent at Canterbury and am currently teaching the module in Transactional Analysis as part of their Certificate Course.

Debbie is an experienced Humanistic Counsellor whose main method of working with clients is using the Person Centred approach alongside, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, and Psycho-synthesis models. She believes the most important aspect of therapy however is the relationship between counsellor and client.
Debbie worked for 7 years in the Mental Health Sector before becoming a counsellor. Sarah is an experienced therapeutic counsellor for individuals. We all face challenges throughout our lives and usually we sort through them by ourselves or with the help of family and friends. Occasionally we are faced with problems that threaten to overwhelm us or our relationships and it is at these times it can be useful to access counselling.
I am an accredited BACP therapist with over 18 years experience in the profession.
