    As a psychodynamically orientated practitioner I seek, through the therapeutic relationship, to help clients come to a greater understanding of the underlying cause of their problems. What will emerge in the work together are often deeply entrenched, negative and possibly destructive patterns of relating to others and of viewing oneself. With new insights gained, clients will then feel freer to embark upon more fulfilling and creative lives.
    
    I have been in practice for over ten years and work with both individuals, including adolescents, and couples. I am experienced in working with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, bereavement and loss, addictions, self-harm and work related stress. I am particularly interested in adoption and I am a therapist in an Ofsted registered Adoption Support Agency.
