Megan works using an integrative approach, which means drawing from a varied 'tool bag' of therapy models, this includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), transactional analysis (TA), psychodynamic, existential and humanistic/person-centered, as well as using hypnotherapy. This means Megan can offer the type of therapy or combination of therapies, which is most appropriate for the particular needs of each client.
Over the last five years Megan has worked with both men and women of all ages from various backgrounds and sexualities, covering a range of issues, which include depression (including post-natal depression), relationship issues, loss and bereavement, work related issues, marital problems, difficulties arising from family life (past and present), low self esteem, lack of confidence, stress and anxiety, sexuality issues and lack of motivation along with being involved with a number of charitable organisations such as Catch22 (formally known at Rainer International) as a young person's mentor, Samaritans and befriending/counselling at The Caravan, based within the grounds of St James Church, Piccadilly, London.
Megan is a member of the National Council of Psychotherapists (NCP) and National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), both of which promote the highest standards of training and professional ethics among its members, including the requirement for Professional Indemnity Insurance.

Joanne is an experienced and effective counsellor with a busy private practice in Kent, she is warm empathic and values the therapeutic relationship.
Joanneās academic foundations are based in the behavioural sciences and she has further built on this with an Advanced Diploma in counselling which was an integrative course incorporating the models of Person centred, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt, she has further training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and draws from the Psychodynamic model to inform her work.
Joanne gained much of her experience from her work within the NHS working in GP surgeries with a wide range of issues, she has also worked at the Kent and Medway Maritime hospital with the Psychological Therapies team where she worked alongside and liaised with the Psychiatric dept. Further to this Joanne has worked at the Kenward Trust in Yalding kent, working with adult men on residential rehabilitation programmes.
Joanne works with a wide range of issues with both adults and young adults on a one to one basis. She offers both brief work and longer term work and sees clients in the West Malling area, Sevenoaks, New Cavendish Square and Harley Street.
