  • I offer Counselling and Psychotherapy to Individuals, Couples and Groups. . I am also a trained couple’s counsellor and supervisor. Most of my work is done face-to-face but I can offer telephone counselling for individuals if needed. Currently I work solely in private practice but I have worked as a Counsellor & Case Manager for a large EAP (Employee Assistance Programme) service for several years. I continue to be affiliated to many EAP’s and can offer a great deal of experience in short term work.
    If you suffer from problems such as, for example, anxiety, depression, stress, addictions, trauma or abuse of any kind, relationship issues or lack of assertiveness or self-esteem, then there is a good chance I can help as I have a wide range of experience and techniques to draw on. My particular speciality is working with the body-mind in order to uncover any hidden solutions to your issues, as sometimes these may be concealed and expressed through physical symptoms and ill-health.
    My approach is eclectic. Over 25 years plus I have put together my own unique style of working which includes many creative processes and techniques to unlock unconscious processes and facilitate change.
    My main modality in practice is humanistic but within this general philosophical framework I am passionate about Jung and his approach to the psyche. I have also done some training in Psychosynthesis and the Transpersonal approach, Gestalt and Person-Centred and I am qualified in Psychodynamic approaches,NLP, CBT & Mindfulness. In addition, I use other innovative cognitive processes to challenge belief systems and release emotions. I am currently training in EMDR for trauma and post-traumatic stress issues.
